Despre timp

Inainte-vreme, timpul se gasea pe toate gardurile. In metrou, in pauzele de la facultate, dupa serviciu, in pauza de masa, pe drum, seara, dimineata, in weekenduri nici nu mai zic, era chiar prea mult uneori.

Carte? Calculator? Agenda? Pix? Fetru? Imprimanta? Carpa de praf? Oale?

"It seems to me that phones are great at filling voids. Waiting in line? It will make the wait feel shorter. Stuck at the doctor's office? It will pass the time much better than a grubby magazine. Riding the bus? You'll be at your destination before you can look up. But what happens when you lose those in between moments? When every space is filled? Do you become intolerant of boredom? Do you no longer have the time or patience to let your mind wander and really think? I still have those 'boring' moments and I often think about what life would be like with out them. I stand in line people watching, I like to see the different kinds of food people are buying and wonder what they are going to cook with it. I like to look at the sky, and the trees and the people around me when I wait for someone. I work out current problems in my head, I let my mind wander. I stare out the windows and enjoy the things I see" (textul integral aici).
